Why Should I Do Business with Ergoware™?
At Ergoware we have carefully partnered with select manufacturers, who are the recognized leaders in the field of office ergonomics, to provide you with one central location for acquiring quality products, as well as useful and current industry information. The products we make available to you are not commodity-grade products labeled as "ergonomic". Rather, these are thoughtfully designed, functionally superior products that offer unparalleled value to the individual or the business, and which we believe will be of value in reducing the incidence of Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI) and Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD). We also offer competitive prices, product support, rapid delivery, and no sales tax (except California).

Are the Products You Sell Comparable to the ones at Retail Computer Stores?
No. We sell only commercial-grade, high quality ergonomic products from the leaders in the industry, and we are not in competition with companies that sell commodity-grade products labeled as "ergonomic". As a matter of fact, most the ergonomic products we sell meet or exceed the industry standards (VESA, BIFMA, Swedish MPR2, etc.). Your assurance of quality and functionality are assured, and all of the products carry the original manufacturer's full warranty. Please review the specific products web pages for the warranty information.

What Is BIFMA Rated?
Established in 1973, BIFMA International is a not-for-profit trade association of furniture manufacturers and suppliers addressing issues of common concern. The association's membership of over 260 companies represents over 80% of the value of North American shipments of office furniture. The ANSI/BIFMA Safety and Performance Standards are developed by the BIFMA Engineering Committee. These standards are intended to provide manufacturers and users with a common basis for evaluating safety, durability, and the structural adequacy of the specified furniture, independent of construction materials. The standards define specific tests, laboratory equipment to be used, the conditions of test, and the minimum acceptance levels to be used in evaluating these products. Further details can be found at www.bifma.com/.

What Is VESA Standard?
The 3"x3" or 4"x4" hole pattern on the back of flat panel monitors or monitor arms is called VESA standard, and a large and increasing number of today's LCDs have 4 compatible holes on the back to attach the VESA plate. Flat panel monitors and monitor arms conforming to these standards are designed to make monitor attachment quick and easy. The VESA® FDMI™ Standard defines physical mounting interfaces and hole patterns, and associated cable and power supply location guidelines for flat panel monitors.

Standard Interfaces
- VESA MIS-D, 100/75, C compliant monitors are equipped with either a 75 x 75 mm or 100 x 100 mm mounting hole pattern
- VESA MIS-E, C compliant monitors are equipped with a 100 x 200 mm mounting hole pattern, and are typically used with heavier monitors.
